Cybersecurity Education for Our Community

CyberCascadia volunteers with ISC2's Center for Cyber Safety and Education to deliver free cybersecurity awareness presentations, from elementary school students to senior citizens.

Cybersecurity isn't just a business problem, it's a community problem. Phishing attacks target grandparents. Social engineering preys on teenagers. Ransomware hits school districts. The people most vulnerable to cyber threats are often the ones with the least access to education about them.

That's why Tanner Harrison volunteers with the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, the charitable foundation of ISC2. Through their Safe and Secure Online program, we deliver free cybersecurity awareness presentations to schools, community organizations, senior centers, and local groups across Washington and Idaho.

Programs We Offer

Free Presentations for Every Age Group

Each presentation is tailored to the audience, age-appropriate, jargon-free, and focused on practical skills people can use immediately.

Kids & Elementary

Internet safety fundamentals, what to share, what not to share, how to recognize when something feels wrong online, and what to tell a trusted adult.

Middle & High School

Social media safety, digital footprint awareness, cyberbullying prevention, password hygiene, and recognizing phishing and social engineering tactics.

Adults & Professionals

Phishing identification, password managers, multi-factor authentication, safe browsing habits, and protecting personal and financial information online.

Senior Citizens

Scam awareness, phone and email fraud prevention, safe online banking, protecting personal information, and recognizing common tactics used to target older adults.

Educators & School Staff

Cybersecurity basics for teachers and administrators, protecting student data, recognizing threats in school environments, and building a security-aware culture.

Small Business Owners

Cybersecurity essentials for non-technical business owners, what you need to know, what to ask your IT provider, and where to start protecting your company.

About the Safe and Secure Online Program

The Safe and Secure Online program is run by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established by ISC2 in 2011. The program connects certified cybersecurity professionals with schools and community organizations to deliver free, expert-led cyber safety education.

As an ISC2 CISSP, Tanner Harrison is part of a global network of volunteers who donate their time and expertise to help the most vulnerable members of our communities stay safe online.

Book a Free Presentation

If you're a school administrator, community organization, church group, senior center, or library in the Tacoma, Spokane, or North Idaho area, we'd love to come speak to your group. All presentations are free and tailored to your audience.

Our Commitment

Cybersecurity is a community responsibility.

Every phishing email caught by a grandparent, every password strengthened by a teenager, every scam avoided by a small business owner, that's the work that matters. Advisory services pay the bills. Community education is why we do this.
