White-label vCISO for MSPs and MSSPs.

A CISSP on your bench, under your brand. We handle the security governance work your clients keep asking for, the questionnaires, insurance applications, policies, and board reports, so you can sell it without hiring for it. Advisory only: no tools, no products, and no contact with your clients unless you ask.

Why MSPs add a vCISO now

Your clients are being asked security questions that are not technical. A customer sends a 200-line vendor questionnaire. The cyber insurance renewal wants signed answers about MFA, EDR, and backups. A contract arrives with a security exhibit. The board asks whether the company is "secure." Those requests land on your help desk, and none of them is a ticket.

You can keep answering them for free, lose the account to an MSSP that bundles compliance, or hire a senior security leader you cannot keep busy. A white-label vCISO is the fourth option: you sell governance as a service, under your brand, and a CISSP delivers it behind you.

CyberCascadia is built for that role because we sell nothing else. We have no tool stack, no SOC, no monitoring, and no product margin, so there is nothing for us to replace in your environment and no reason to compete for the account.

Three Ways to Partner

Pick the model that fits the client.

Most partners use all three. One client gets a white-label retainer, another needs a one-off insurance application, and a third wants an independent name on the report.

Your brand

White-label vCISO

An ongoing vCISO retainer delivered under your name. Deliverables go out on your letterhead, and we join client calls as part of your team when you want us there.

  • Per-client monthly wholesale rate
  • Risk register, policies, roadmap, QBR security slides
  • You set the resale price and keep the margin

Overflow capacity

The CISSP bench

A prepaid block of senior hours for the security work your techs should not be doing: questionnaires, insurance applications, policy sets, incident response plans, and audit findings.

  • Quarterly blocks, used across any of your clients
  • Standard ten-business-day turnaround on documents
  • Rush work when a deal or renewal is on the line

Our name, your client

Independent review

When a client, auditor, insurer, or acquirer wants a third party, CyberCascadia appears by name as your independent security partner. Also used for your own customers' due diligence on you.

  • Co-branded reports and attestation letters
  • Independent review of controls, including yours
  • Readiness support for your own SOC 2 or audits

Questionnaire and insurance answers

The Ten-Day Answer at wholesale: one questionnaire, application, or contract exhibit, completed with a gap register your team can work.

Ongoing vCISO retainer

Monthly security leadership for clients with compliance pressure, board reporting, or a regulator. Delivered under your brand.

Policy sets

Written for the client's real environment and the framework they answer to, not a template pack with the logo swapped.

Risk assessments

NIST CSF 2.0 or CIS Controls assessments with a risk register and a roadmap your team executes, which turns into project work for you.

HIPAA risk analysis

The Security Rule risk analysis for medical and dental clients, with audit-ready documentation.

Incident response and tabletops

A written IR plan that names your team's role, tested in a facilitated tabletop with the client's leadership.

Rules of Engagement

Written down before we start.

The question every MSP asks a security partner is "will you take my client?" These are the rules that answer it, and they go in the partner agreement.

What we always do

  • Keep you as the client's primary relationship
  • Send any client who contacts us directly back to you
  • Bring findings about your own stack to you first, in writing, with time to fix them
  • Put our own name, never yours, on any signed attestation
  • Sign a mutual NDA and non-solicit before any client work

What we never do

  • Sell, resell, or recommend products for a commission
  • Offer monitoring, help desk, or any service you provide
  • Touch client systems or ask for admin credentials
  • Contact your clients without your say-so
  • Hide a material risk from a client to protect anyone, including you
How It Starts

From first call to first deliverable in about two weeks.

01

30-minute call

Your client mix, what they keep asking for, which model fits, and partner pricing.

02

Paper it

Mutual NDA and a partner agreement with the rules above and white-label terms, scoped to how you sell.

03

First client

Usually a questionnaire or insurance application. Finished in ten business days, on your letterhead or ours.

Why an independent, advisory-only partner

Most white-label vCISO options for MSPs are either software platforms your techs still have to run, or security firms that also sell SOC, MDR, or penetration testing. The second kind will eventually be in your client's office recommending its own services.

CyberCascadia is one CISSP, Tanner Harrison, with 13+ years in enterprise security and a business that earns nothing from what your clients buy. That independence is also what lets us credibly review controls in front of a client, auditor, or insurer, including controls you operate.

We are based in Bonney Lake, Washington. Partners anywhere in the US work with us remotely, and partners in the Puget Sound, Spokane, and North Idaho also get someone who can be in the room for the board meeting or the tabletop.

Not an MSP yourself, but you advise clients on insurance or contracts? See our page for insurance brokers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What MSP owners ask first.

No. We never contact your clients unless you ask us to, and our partner agreement includes a mutual non-solicit. If one of your clients reaches out to us directly, we send them back to you. You own the relationship; we do the work behind it.

That is your call. White-label means the work is delivered under your brand and we stay invisible. Co-branded means we appear as your independent security partner, which helps when a client, auditor, or insurer specifically wants a third party.

It comes to you first, in writing, with time to fix it before anything reaches the client. We will not hide a material risk from a client, but we will never surprise you with one in a client meeting. That rule is in the partner agreement.

No. We are advisory only. We work from interviews, documentation, and evidence you or your client provide. We never ask for admin credentials, install agents, or run tools in your clients' environments.

Usually it is the missing half. Platforms generate assessments and policies; a client still needs a senior person to interpret them, sit in the board meeting, and sign off on judgment calls. We can work inside the platform you already use.

The partner agreement spells out who is responsible for what, the scope of each deliverable, and liability limits. Signed attestation letters always carry CyberCascadia's name, never yours, so you are not attesting to work you did not do.

No. Most partner work is remote, so we partner with MSPs and MSSPs anywhere in the US. Partners in Washington and North Idaho also get in-person support for client meetings, board briefings, and tabletop exercises.

You get wholesale rates and set your own resale price. Retainers are priced per client per month, deliverables are fixed fee, and bench time is sold in prepaid quarterly blocks. We walk through partner pricing on a 30-minute call.

Your clients keep asking security questions.

Sell the answers under your brand. A CISSP delivers them behind you, with no tools, no products, and no contact with your clients.
